American Precision Services brought an industrial B2B message into Chicago's highest-attention environments and stayed there long enough to build recognition. Across seven consecutive days, AOTC placed the brand near major St. Patrick's events, Cubs Opening Day, downtown commuter corridors, and nightlife districts — turning precision machining, welding, and fabrication into a message the city actually stopped to notice.
Campaign Story
Make an industrial service company visually relevant to a fast-moving city audience — a category rarely marketed where entertainment and consumer brands live.
Use sustained repetition across distinct Chicago crowd profiles instead of one static placement — placing the company where competitors were not, creating contrast.
Eight-hour routes for seven consecutive days, following attention — commuter peaks, game traffic, event exits, and nightlife — not a fixed board.
Route Architecture
Downtown density, commuter flow, and evening traffic created repeated exposure across a broad professional audience.
Cubs Opening Day delivered concentrated pedestrian traffic outside one of Chicago's most recognizable venues.
A destination neighborhood added cultural, dining, and tourist traffic to the weekly reach profile.
Business, hospitality, and nightlife put the brand in front of decision-makers and high-value evening crowds.
Success By The Numbers
The Creative
The design gave a Gary-based operator the visual weight of a regional brand. Machinery imagery told viewers what kind of company they were seeing before they finished reading; six capabilities appeared in one frame; and bright red type made the phone number the strongest response cue — holding up against stadium lighting, downtown architecture, and crowded nighttime streets.
American Precision Services proved an industrial brand can command the same attention as a stadium, a skyline, or a major event — when the message is placed where the city is already looking.
